September Newsletter

Welcome to all our new families and Educarers that have joined Bizzy Buddyz in the last month. We have had a busy month setting up procedures and policies and everything is running smoothly, so far. Educarers have been issued with a beautiful assortment of educational toys and equipment. If there is any equipment you need or would like to change, please let your co-ordinator know. We are here to help you in any way we can.

Maree Allen and Diane Sanson will be at the Home Based Care Conference in Auckland on the 15th, 16th and 17th September. They will be returning with lots of useful information that will benefit all.

The OSCAR Centre has progressed to the securing of a Hall at St Joseph’s School. We are now working towards C.Y.F’s approval. All is going well and we hope to lift off at the end of October. We will keep you posted. Watch this space.

School Holidays start 22nd September – 9th October.
There will be no co-ordinator visits over this time.

The next Play Group after the holidays will be 11th October. Your next News Letter will be in early October.

CAREGIVERS PLAYGROUP DATES AND ACTIVITIES

6th September – Visit to the Horse Riding School on Keepa Rd. We will meet at the Rowing Club at 9.45 and travel together.
13th September – McAlister St park. Meet at 10am. The usual hot cuppa and yummy cake.
20th September – Duck Pond visit at the end of King St. 10am. Bring bread. Then a walk to the park and a visit at Barbara Bryant’s house.

REAP WORKSHOP – 2nd October – Maths Maths Everywhere. Come and discover where numbers are hidden in everyday life.
