We would like to inform our Educarers and families that the Education Review Office (ERO) will be visiting us between 15^th and 20^th October, 2007. We would appreciate all profiles to be completed and to the office by the 30^th Sep as this is a requirement for the ministry of education. We realise you are all busy with the children in your care but profiles must be completed. ERO will want to visit 4 – 8 Educarers so we will be in touch regarding those visits. Please let your families know that ERO is coming and may wish to speak to some of them.

 

Wine trail confirmation! Meet at 7 Sisam Place at 9.20am on Saturday, September 15. We will be travelling to Celestial Wines, Waimana for fruit wine tasting, cheese and crackers, then travel to Avaganda Café, Awakeri to taste their wares. Then it’s off for an elegant lunch at the Prickly Puha, Thornton. We will see you to your doors around 3.30pm.

Lunch, wine tastings and snacks will be paid for by Bizzy Buddyz, but start saving your dollars now to buy any wines you may like on the day.

Please RSVP Val 3088245 by Wednesday, September 12 to book a seat on the bus and pre-order your lunch. Don’t forget your sense of humour and lippy!

 

 

Thank you to all who attended the Bizzy Buddyz first Birthday party at the Salvation Army Hall. We had a lovely morning and once again thank you all for the hard work that you do for Bizzy Buddyz.

  

Our Fire Station Visit is happening on the 11^th September. Meet at the fire station at 9.45 and Ken Clark will talk to the children briefly about fire safety and we can all have a good look around the fire station. Please discuss fire safety with the children to help prepare them for our fire station visit. Don’t forget to keep your emergency evacuation plans up to date and practice your drills once a month.
