Welcome back to another term with Bizzy Buddyz.

We would like to welcome new Educarers to the Bizzy Buddyz team. Welcome to Aroha Rakuraku, Annette Vanstone, Katie Paton, Kerry Limmer and Pare Harawira. We hope you enjoy being part of our busy little team.

The colder weather is here with vengeance so please ensure your homes are adequately heated. The indoor area the children use must be kept at a temperature of not less than 16 degrees celsius. All heating with exposed flames, elements or hot surfaces must have a guard around them at all times.

Play groups for this term are as follows:

July 23^rd Wednesday: Science day at the office. 9.30am

July 30^thWednesday: Dental Care with Hine from Pacific Health @ office 9.45am

August 6^th Wednesday: Harekeke- Weaving with flax- Wendy Main @ Mel Wineera’s home. 83 Hinemoa St. 9.30-11.30am. Please bring flax if you are able, to both play groups.

August 12^th Tuesday: Harekeke- Weaving- Wendy Main @ Office 9.30-11.30am. Chn looked after by Elaine and Yvonne.

August 20^th Wednesday: McAlister St carpark 10.00am

August 26^th Tuesday: Meet @ Yvonne’s house for challenge course and activities- 23 Harbour Rd @ 10.00am

September 3rd Wednesday: Fathers Day Activities – Office @ 9.30am

September 9^th Tuesday: Messy Play @ Lyns- 112 Douglas St 9.30am

September 17th Wednesday: Baking Day @ the Office Yum 9.30am

September 23^rd Tuesday: Cultural Day on Marae. More details to follow.

FIRST AID DATES FOR THIS TERM ARE: - JULY- 21^ST and 22^nd, 29^th and 30^th. AUGUST- 4^TH AND 5^TH, 13^TH and 14^th, 21^st and 22^nd, 30^th and 31^st.

Thank you to all that attended our Educarers night. The feedback has been wonderful and we are looking forward to session no 2. Those that missed the first session will have no trouble in catching up. Please bring back with you a Profile book and a couple of photos of children at play that you can relate to. Join us on July 22^nd, upstairs at Reap House from 7-9pm. Supper provided.

RIVER EDGE PARK MINIATURE RAILWAY WINTER DAYS ARE:-

Sunday- 6^th, 13^th, 20^th July, 3^rd Aug, and 7th Sept.

Trains run from 10am until 4pm weather permitting.
