Welcome Back to Term 3, 2009
What an awesome autumn we have had, winter is here and we need to have a warm change of clothing in children’s bags, appropriate footwear and woolly hats
We would like to welcome two new Educarers, Tia Wilson and Eliza Long to the Bizzy Buddyz team. We hope you will both enjoy being part of our childcare and education service. We say farewell to Joanne Walker, Kerry Limmer and Christina Heathcote, all the best in your new jobs.

July 21st Tuesday- Skateboard park 10.00am
July 29th Wednesday- Gymnastics club 10.00am. 11 Lovelock St. $2.00 each. Wear comfortable clothing.
August 12th Wednesday- Face painting and dress ups @ the Office. 10.00am
August 18th Tuesday- Rose gardens-Ball games, parachute, exploring nature, 10.00am
August 26th Wednesday-Gymnastics Club 10.00am. 11 Lovelock St.
September 2nd Wednesday- Spring day-caterpillar theme. Office 10.00am
September 8th Tuesday- Bouncy Castle @ Frans house- 173 James St. 10.00am.
September 15th Tuesday- Obstacle Course @ Poroporo Rugby Club rooms. All meet @ Rowing club @ 9.30.
September 23rd Wednesday- Farm Visit with Caitlyn Bridges family (Wainui). Meet @ rowing club- 9.30.
NZHBECEA (New Zealand Home Early Childhood Education Association) CONFERENCE is being held in Tauranga, September 18th-19th-20th 2009.
This is a great opportunity for our Educarers to be involved in Professional Development and network with others in the Home Base sector. If you are interested in attending conference, contact the office for further details. We need to know if you are interested because we have to register and book accommodation.

Message to all Educarers from Fran Wharewera- If you see the bouncy castles out @ 173 James St you are very welcome to pop in with your children for some fun. Thank you Fran for your kind offer.
We have just reviewed our dog policy. We feel this policy is too important to ignore, and we would like Educarers with dogs to ensure that their dogs are kept separate from the children in care. The children’s safety is our priority in Bizzy Buddyz.
WEEKEND WORK ROSTER- There is now more families wanting care during the weekends. If you would like to be on the weekend roster please let us know.
EDUCARERS APPRAISELS- in term 3 we will conduct Educarer Appraisals. During this exercise we will be checking children’s Profile Books, your program planning, training that has been completed and your attendance to Professional Development meetings. Some one from the office will contact you to make an appointment.
MESSAGE FROM YOUR VISITING TEACHERS- Please help our visits by engaging the children in a planned activity so that we can put our pen to paper with an activity of interest.
