This website is designed to provide you with information about Bizzy Buddyz and what we offer to families requiring care for children aged 0 – 5 years and after school care.

It also outlines what is required if you are wishing to become an Educarer.

Our aim is to provide quality education and care with children being cared for in a positive environment that encourages individuality, co-operation, self-assertion and creativity.

Bizzy Buddyz is a Ministry of Education approved and Licensed Home Based Early Childhood Care and Education Service. We provide high quality, affordable care and education for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in the homes of carefully selected Educarers.

Home based childcare provides an alternative to center based care. The unique attributes of home based care are small ratios, with the child experiencing life in a caring home environment. Your child will enjoy everyday life situations, for example, hanging out the washing, cooking, shopping, going for walks, visiting parks, the library, attending music and movement groups etc.

Our trained Educarers are experienced in providing an environment where your child is valued and their needs recognised. Educarers aim to help children grow up as competent, confident learners and communicators. They also provide activities such as play dough, paints, collage, books, puzzles, sand and water play, thereby enhancing the child’s learning and development by expanding on these experiences, while following Te Whariki, the NZ Early Childhood Curriculum.

Bizzy Buddyz provides Educarers with nursery equipment and educational resources to help support the Educarer in delivering their play programme along with supporting the child progress.

There are also weekly playgroup sessions, giving the child the opportunity to interact with other children.

Bizzy Buddyz operates within the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008 and is guided by the policies and related processes that have been developed. These policies are available on request. We endeavor to meet your childcare needs. To discuss your requirements please contact us.

WINZ childcare subsidies are available to those who meet the criteria, please inquire.

Educarers are carefully selected to look after your child/ren, they must meet the requirements as set by the Ministry of Education and their homes must meet the requirements and regulations of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008. They, along with their partner and any other member of the home over the age of 17 years will have had a police check completed, and three reference checks.
