Elaine is back from Hamilton and her holiday and is looking forward to working with you all again. Thank you Elaine for filling in for Philippa while she was away on maternity leave.
Yvonne is away for the month of May on her holiday down the South Island. Hopefully the weather will be kind to you. |

Welcome Back to Term Two
Another term is upon us, with some warm autumn days and cooler evenings and mornings. Remember to dress the children for four seasons, who knows how it will turn out and we want to be prepared.
A warm welcome to our new Educarers, Tia Ratapu, Jolene Cutler, Natalie Livingstone and Toni Elmiger from Opotiki. We hope you will all enjoy being part of the Bizzy Buddyz community.

We hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year with your friends and family. Your batteries should be recharged and ready for the busy year ahead. Please remember in this very hot weather to keep your children’s hats on and plenty of sun block when outdoors. Parents please provide these items for the safety and wellbeing of your children.

Roll on summer
We say goodbye to the cold, wet weather (hopefully) and all the challenges that it brings for looking after children in the winter months. Wow, spring is here! Summer is just around the corner with lots of outdoor activities organised.
So, we need to start thinking about “Slip Slop Slap” and keeping ourselves safe from the sun.
It is time for being pro-active, supportive to each other and concentrating on the positives things that happen everyday in our lives! |

The colder weather is here with vengeance so please ensure your homes are adequately heated. The indoor area the children use must be kept at a temperature of not less than 16 degrees celsius. All heating with exposed flames, elements or hot surfaces must have a guard around them at all times. |

Play groups are being organised now and if you have some brilliant ideas make sure you let us know so we can pencil it in for next term. It is great to see the Educarers and children at playgroup and it makes all the hard work organising them worthwhile. Remember you are all welcome to attend and it would be great to see some new faces. |
